Green Ideas is a social enterprise; as such, I aim to make our community a better place by providing activities and experiences for the local community, improving the local environment through river cleans and tree planting, and providing additional training for community members. 

I operate on two fronts: our education program for outdoor professionals and our community-focused initiatives to encourage local participation. We believe that being active and in nature, there are numerous benefits for all, including Physical and Mental health, developing social relationships and aiming to be a benefit to the natural environment

Green Ideas is acting as a trust, and as such, we are focused on aiding the community and the environment rather than generating profit. 

Our educational programs are designed and tailored to each class we deliver. As such a we have the ability to change and alter programs to best suit your wants and needs. Activity in nature is our delivery process while having the health and well-being objectives.

Courses are designed and run by Rhys Green a qualified teachers who is qualified in all activities and programmes delivered. Every course is designed with you in mind and tailored to best assist you.

The aim

‘Together Everyone Achieves More’, being a TEAM and sustaining this opportunity in Llansawel, a community, can come together to be healthier and to better enjoy life.

Through the enjoyment of being outdoors, a healthier and happier society is possible. 

From 2020 through 2022, Rhys was able to use £5 from every individual who received a course certificate for planting trees. This resulted in over 5000 trees being planted. During 2022 – 2026, individuals can choose to plant trees or to have Rhys invest in wildlife projects. 2024 was a big year, with a large wildlife project undertaken thanks to courses and support from attendees. This is around 1 acre to benefit otters, kingfishers, trees, and to limit Balsam. Between 2023 and 2026, another 2000+ trees have been planted.
